Response to Precisely
It's like asking how come "God" stopped performing miracles, verfiably of his doing, exactly the moment we were able to actually verify them or posing how come an omni-everthing God who created out of nothing through mere will at first, quite quickly began to create and establish through rather complicated, contrived, roundabout manners in ambiguous ways.
You will notice that possible answers don't hold. As a matter of fact, you'll notice that when advocates of this God or that are confronted with incontestables addressing the matter, they either go silent; more illogical; in denial, turn dishonest; abusive, even absurd or any combination thereof and cannot seem to help themselves but advertise such, therewith, in effect, granting the courtesy of instant clarification.
I therefore content:
"God"; a substitute, a (contradictory) fiction, taking care of us and everything, displays a defence mechanism known as 'the repression response'; a coping strategie, at best, a power tool, for worse, and when we identify the main theme of, and shared by, most, if not all, organized and institutionalized religions, then we will find it rather mundane policy; humbuggery.
Any BS tends to be infected, more or less
by this sneaky creature : the humbug
