Response to What is the SON of God?

The Son of God took on flesh

Phil 2:5-8
5b b Christ Jesus:
6 Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped,
7 but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.
8 And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death-- even death on a cross!
(NIV)

REAL Christians who accurately interpret the Scriptures do not manipulate or distort the message of context.

a VISITATION from God can occur at any time and can be for a nation OR even an individual and even NOW FOR YOU JB as you read this response. A VISITATION from God is when God speaks to your heart to reveal were you REALLY stand before Him, if it be as one who is a child of God OR as one that is to be judged.

The Son of God "IN THE FLESH" >>LITERALLY

Luke 19:41-44
41 And when He approached, He saw the city and wept over it,
42 saying, "If you had known in this day, even you, the things which make for peace! But now they have been hidden from your eyes.
43 "For the days shall come upon you when your enemies will throw up a bank before you, and surround you, and hem you in on every side,
44 and will level you to the ground and your children within you, and they will not leave in you one stone upon another, because you did not recognize the time of your VISITATION." (NAS)

The visitation to Israel UNFORTUNATELY found Israel's heart NOT in it's proper place before God, therefore God, being God, had to pronounce judgment upon them.

When God the Son took on flesh as the Bible says.... the union of TWO NATURES into ONE took place. The union of the NATURE of DEITY was join together with the NATURE of HUMANITY (NOT THE NATURE OF "SINFUL" HUMANITY) in the person of Jesus Christ. The is a LITERAL event and NOT SYMBOLISM or ALLEGORY. It is called the HYPOSTATIC UNION and THAT UNION of the two natures is INSEPARABLY UNITED FOREVER. It is WITHOUT MIXTURE OR CONFUSION. In Christ Jesus is ONE who is at the SAME TIME BOTH TRULY GOD and TRULY MAN.

The same God of John 1:1

John 1:1-2
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 He was in the beginning with God.
(NAS)

Consider your visitation JB.
