After hearing from Bill doing work in a food pantry at the church he attends, I felt a nudging in my heart about the food pantry in our church and have become a bit more involved especially in the spreading of the gospel message to those less fortunate than me.
Here is a portion of an email I received this morning from a married couple who have really fallen on some tough times and at one time were occasional visitors to my church. I have managed to keep in touch with them, to let them KNOW that God has NOT ABANDONED THEM.

How's by you eh? We had a great time last night but we both thought that the evening was too short unfortunately, because we were really enjoying your company. Oh well, next time we'll spend your money (Ha! Ha!) somewhere where we can have more time together to talk longer. No really, on a positive note it was a really, really great time. Every time we see you it just seems like no time has passed at all. We really Love you in the Lord. You are a great and dear brother. I'll be calling you soon anyway. Tom & Lorraine.
