...and while you probably HAVE a deep and thorough understanding of Judaism -better than 90% of all Jews- you are NEVERTHELESS ... still a bit of an "outsider" I bet. You weren't BORN Jewish and you just don't have that "instinct" ... I'll betcha anything. It's like an immigrant to the U.S. who has to study and know the country's history but he's never "quite" the genuine article. He's disgusted at how little the natural-born citizens know about their own stuff but still, he never quite makes their grade.

I remember Laura Schlesinger complaining bitterly about it. She worked really hard to become the best of the best -a conservative orthodox Jew- and .... they never accepted her as being a genuine Jew.

I suspect it's a case of ..... they don't WANT you to know too much.

That's how it is with Christianity. Just BELIEVE it! Don't get into too much study or knowledge; it's the DEVIL'S TOOL!
