Response to Australia is a divided nation

It seems to be always the same then. The world cultures and languages seem to be broken down from west to east with the west leading and the east trailing.

Here in N. America it's the same. Language and culture seems pretty aligned from N to S ... even across the country boundary. Western Canadians speak pretty much like Californians. Cowboys in Idaho U.S. talk very much like cowboys in Alberta, Canada. From W to E though, it's like going backwards in time.
