the answer is as of yet few have reached this level of consciousness that the RAPTURE produces while in the body, but more and more will want to as those who have reached it will have something that they don't have:
it may not be evident now while the numbers are so few, but when more and more people experience the rapture (feast of tabernacles) those who are left behind and in the worlds tribulations will begin to ask how to have what these people seem to have:
if ones body dies and they have not reached the truth first they will endure the experience of encountering God without a body: Catholics believe in purgatory for that reason because it is a place for the spirit to be purified so that the soul can be saved:
Those who only believe that others are going to hell will come to understand the truth when they encouter God as well and realize that nobody gets to heaven without going through purification, here or there.
those who have a lot to face about their "choices" and will/spirit will either want to endure that purification or they won't: It will be their choice and from the EXPERIENCE while in the body I would say it is the single most difficult thing we ever endure. I don't think it would be easier without a body since with the body I have choices to make amends or at least do good for others while here in this world:
once I am on the other side, I have no more choice to bring anything into this world unless I enter another body and try again:
Hindus say that the spiritual world (the hell before the heaven) is so terrible that one incarnates as quickly as they can even into an animal rather than be without a body:
I actually do know which is why I can say it would be hell with ONLY YOUR OWN THOUGHTS to keep you company if you don't have a connection to TRUE REALITY:
since I experienced leaving (through the brain stem) and entering the body again in time (8 years later I was back fully conscious in my body), I know that there is nothing one can do for anyone while in this state of mind:
it is a time of you and God and even if you are left in the body, nobody can hear you anymore even if they see you to an extent: You almost become invisible to the eyes of the world:
I am in heaven and on earth now (both the consciousness of outside of my senses and subject to them as well) and I can say that if I didn't have the OUTSIDE consciousness above my senses, my life would be intollerable since the body can become mighty sick
and egos can be very cruel but I had one so I know not to take it personally
yet I see souls in formation and this is what makes my LIFE have meaning:
God is working on making Man in his image and likeness and this is very very exiting indeed:)
