Response to The Urantia Book

I read it and joined a reading group and liked some of what it said a lot. I didn't understand the "cross" yet so I was looking for something that made sense to me about God crucifying his ONLY SON and the Urantia book seemed to make some sense about it till I had my own experience of the cross:

after that I didn't need any other book but the Bible and found all other books to be lacking in the full expression of what happens to us when we too are crucified with Christ:

so now the URANTIA book doesn't make sense about the cross at all:

if God just allowed Jesus to be crucified because of an ordinary turn of events on Urantia, then God doesn't really make sense to me at all in the end.

It either is as it is written, but we have to COME TO THE EXPERIENCE to understand it, or it is just bogus to think there was a good reason to allow Jesus to be crucified for no other reason than the Jews and Rome wanted it:
