Stuff is amazing. But like you, it's stretching that I rely on.
That was my first bout of sciatica too. 2005. I was squatting 292 pounds, I felt my lower back round .. next day it was a little sore, it was 2 days later though, that I was in excruciating pain. It was about a week or two of rolling out of bed, lying on the floor to get dressed. A couple of months later I started lifting again. 45 pounds.
I like lifting weights. This time it wasn't from lifting. Just a fluke - coupled with, once your back gives you issues, it's never the same again.
