| But you may be right. Personally, I have little faith in the medical profession because the system is geared for making money and LOTS of it ... whether we need them or not.
But there ARE quite a number of old codgers who should have and would have long been dead, were it not for surgical intervention.
Dick Cheney comes to mind, as does Larry Hagman. Hagman had his liver replaced 15 years ago and is still ticking. That's quite a stretch, living on someone else's organ.
