It's a stunning concept

for traditional Christianity because ... if hell doesn't exist, then WHAT was the purpose of Jesus Christ's death and resurrection and belief in him?

It's "too early" for the truth to dawn on Christian minds but maybe someday it finally will and that is ...

The Jesus story is anything BUT what they had imagined it to be for almost 2000 years.

It was a (skimpy) story about a guy who was angling toward becoming King of the Jews in Palestine, circa zero year BC/AD ... and he failed ... and was killed. That's ALL it is. Of course, 2000 years ago, "he" would have been a big deal but his relevance has L-O-N-G ago become obsolete.
