Response to However, the differnece between myself and a religionist is... |
| when you understand them in your heart, that means you have FELT THEM to be true
they don't come to your outer world as the truth
what I find a little strange is that you don't seem to have an inner life........you only believe in what you see with your physical eyes?
how much of reality can you see with your physical eyes?
have you ever seen most of the things with your physical eyes that you learned about being real or true?
or do you just take some scientists word for it?
if you take his word for it, then you are just being led by someone elses eyes and ears, even if you don't want to admit it
you may say, but these have been VERIFIED as real
by whom?
masses of people?
instruments that men made to measure reality?
if you are not the INSTRUMENT to measure reality, how will you ever really know anything for sure???
all the metaphor of the Bible, (people, places and things people think they could see) speak of REALITY within us
you have been told
but you can't CONCIEVE of it so you simply dismiss it as unreal
but based on that, you should use that same measure about science since it has NOT proven the ultimate reality either....
we can prove it to ourselves however
the creator left us as the MEANS to measure reality
and he didn't just mean if we made instruments to do so
he left us as the measure within ourselves
thats much much much MORE powerful
