Response to Overcoming Addiction With Godís Help
This post is heretical. If we humans have free will and can choose good or evil for ourselves, then we cannot also be powerless and unable to control our actions.
God: as in anyone believeing in such a thing, must certainly recognize that God is powerless over any affliction. Thus, millions dieing daily from disease, earthquakes, tornadoes, floods for just a short list. God can't even cure the clap.
The idea of a higher power giving a rat's ass about someone who willingly inflicts harm upon themselves is beyond stupid. But obviously not beyond superstition.
This certainly must bring one to the acknowledgement that superstition is a worse affliction than stupid.
