According to theists they are too special to have been crafted by any natural process since the entire planet, the solar system, the galaxy and the rest of the universe were all created especially with 'us' in mind.
Yet, according to the same theists, atheists have an ego problem.
As for "God", we may not be able to prove the existence of this or that god, directly ... we can however, prove the opposite and therewith disprove the former by necessity. Two birds with one stone.
It depends on the direction of reasoning used to prove one thing or the other ---> modus (ponendo) ponens, modus (tollendo) tollens and such.......
rejected and denied by many, accepted and embraced by few : incontrovertibility
- it is not what we (think we) know that matters, it is what we can show true that does
as the maxim demands; truth is demonstrably fact and fact is demonstrably true
everything else ... mere BS -
