Response to Thats how I see it
No guilt = no sin
Guilt comes from knowledge of right and wrong, and in understanding how our actions affect others.
When I was a little boy I remember picking up a hand full of small stones, and throwing them into this little girls face, and she started balling. I felt very guilty after seeing the affect my actions had on the little girl. But as I was throwing the hand full of little stones, I actually assumed she might like it.
True story, I was about 5 years old.
Guilt comes from knowledge of right and wrong, and in understanding how our actions will affect others.
Sin is something like that.
Shalt not steal.
Shalt not covet thy neighbors wife.
Shalt not kill. (Without good cause like food, and self preservation)
And so on....
The 10 Commandment/Law teach us to love God and to love one another.
That's what I think.
