Some of it doesn't hang together quite rightly. Chances are the Epic of Gilgamesh doesn't either. Gotta give that a read sometime. It's on my bookshelf, but .. it is just a little dry reading.
Anyway do you have a deeper point? Yes there are seeming contradictions in the Bible. There are even theists and Christians that recognize this as the case.
