I believe that ..
No one cares what a christian believes but the Christian..
It seems that for every different christian there is another christian view, all convinced that their view is better than the next guys.
Whats the point in arguing over this verse or that verse being inappropriate when the whole book was written by .. a headless committee over a 1000 years.
Do you have a basis yet for proving or disproving someones opinion? It will be a long and pointless debate if you try quoting from a book that proves nothing to me, or I quote from scientists who contradict the bible because you will probably think are lying for money or some such excuse.
Does your god negate logic? Does your god triumph over naturalistic explanations Does your god appear only in the pages of your bible? If your answer is yes to any of these questions then why bother debating? You are incapable of carrying a coherant or worthwhile discussion as far as I am concerned.
If we find a mutually interesting and concludable topic, game on, else why bother? If its just blather, blather blather, I believe that ..., Christians deserve to be ignored.
Truth, facts, evidence, we probably arent even talking the same language.
