...A religion true to its nature
must...be concerned about man's social conditions.

Religion deals with both earth and heaven,
both time and eternity.

Religion operates not only
on the vertical plane
but also on the horizontal.

It seeks not only
to integrate men with God
but to integrate men with men
and each man with himself.

This means, at bottom,
that the Christian gospel
is a two-way road.

On the one hand
it seeks to change the souls of men,
and thereby unite them with God;

on the other hand
it seeks to change the environmental conditions of men
so that the soul will have a chance
after it is changed.

Any religion
that professes to be
concerned with the souls of men
and is not
concerned with the slums
that damn them,
the economic conditions that strangle them,
and the social conditions
that cripple them
is a dry-as-dust religion.

Such a religion is
the kind that Marxists like
to see - an opiate of the people.

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

I completely agree.
The way of Life
according to Scriptures
is exactly how Martin Luther King, Jr.
explained in your post.

High 5!
You sexy Irish babe!....
Oops did I say that????
hahahaha just kidding.
But I agree with Bob
LOL

Martin Luther King, Jr. was right.
Its too bad God doesn't allow
everyone to see the Truth
contained in the Scriptures.
It covers all aspects of life
and this world yesterday today and the future.
And I've tried so many
different approaches to explain it,
I don't know what to say anymore.

Most people here
see themselves as pro-life,
but in my view
they are hard core anti-life
denying the giver of live.
They see life as
a precious fact
that can never end
or as simple mortality with
an end of conciseness.

But I think
life is conditional
and can be eternal
for each person.
Eternal life is
a conditional gift.
And the condition is
belief in Jesus the Son
of GOD ALMIGHTY.

God has given us 2,000 years
to get used to the idea,
and today, what do we see?

No one is privileged.

'We' are Experiencers.

We are one energy form 'after' another.
Nothing is destroyed.

Is 'God' wasteful?

(my veiw is that: God will not give more to us, than we can handle!)

1 Corinthians 10:13
There hath no temptation taken you
but such as is common to man:
but God is faithful,
who will not suffer you
to be tempted
above that ye are able;
but will with the temptation
also make a way to escape,
that ye may be
able to bear it.

You say much in few words Pumpkin.

And your right
"We are Experience-rs."

And your correct
energy cannot be destroyed
to our understanding.

Is GOD wasteful?..
So you want to KNOW
the mind of GOD?..
I'm pondering it in prayer....

HE says YES
from you Timothy
explain to her.

Pumpkin
we are in
a controlled environment
which GOD placed upon us.
We have free will
as GOD also created us
to know good and evil.
We are in
a testing grown
and that is
where we are.
Not a testing ground of perfection
but of faith.

As I was instructed
I told you.
