Response to "God is beyond human descriptions"
Not sure where you got "fluff", but not what I said. I said: "No human words or concepts are adequate to describe God, not completely."
What you did quote, you cut off in mid-sentence -- "God is beyond human descriptions". What I actually wrote was: "God is beyond human descriptions like straight or gay." Like male or female. Tall or short. Old or young. Thin or fat. Black or white or any other color. Those are descriptions that could apply to human beings, but God is not a human being.
That is different from human beings trying to describe God. Those of us who believe in God can say many things about God that are true and valid -- God is Love, God is Spirit, God is the Creator -- that isn't fluff, but it is inadequate and does not describe God completely.
In order to understand this idea, one would have to believe that there is something more amazing, more vast, more complex, more wondrous, more glorious, than oneself. Something so amazing that it is beyond comprehension or complete description. Is there anything at all that you feel that way about?
(edited to add the word "and" after the word "inadequate" because it was missing and it bugged me.)
