Sadly, many of our politicians seem to be a clueless lot, especially those who grew up in wealth and privilege. They don't understand how the "little people" live, and how their decisions and policies and little back door deals and agreements affect all of us in our daily lives.
Anne Romney recently told the tale of how when she and Mitt were students, they were struggling, barely making it, neither of them working so Mitt had to sell stock for them to make ends meet.

Oh, boo hoo, Anne. Having stocks to sell so you don't have to work your way through college isn't exactly "struggling". Most college students don't have an investment portfolio that was gifted to them by their dad. In fact, most college students today are buried under the staggering weight of student loan debt, and the government keeps raising the interest rate.
