V> The Greek word for "whom" is not gender specific. It simply meant "who, which, what, or that." Look carefully at that verse. It speaks of a SINGLE person ... since this person would be "the FIRSTBORN" .... among many brethren. Moreover, this person would be "conformed to the image" ... of his son.
N> Again Vince the CONTEXT tells what it means and it is talking about a WHOM meaning a PERSON. The person being FIRSTBORN (or the Pre-eminent one) is Jesus Christ. Christ is the One being conformed TO, NOT the one being conformed. Read the verse again.
Rom 8:29-30
29 For whom He foreknew, He also predestined {to become} conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the first-born among many brethren;
30 and whom He predestined, these He also called; and whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified. (NAS)
V> Remember, Paul's Jesus existed ONLY in his mind, through divine revelation. He saw his Jesus Christ as having gone through betrayal, crucifixion by peers in the heavens, and then his resurrection in the heavens.
N> That ALSO is not true ...seeing the conversion of Paul one should EASILY SEE (if he could see) that when Christ
Acts 9:3-9
3 And it came about that as he journeyed, he was approaching Damascus, and suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him;
4 and he fell to the ground, and heard a voice saying to him, "Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?"
5 And he said, "Who art Thou, Lord?" And He {said,} "I am Jesus whom you are persecuting,
6 but rise, and enter the city, and it shall be told you what you must do. "
7 And the men who traveled with him stood speechless, hearing the voice, but seeing no one.
8 And Saul got up from the ground, and though his eyes were open, he could see nothing; and leading him by the hand, they brought him into Damascus.
9 And he was three days without sight, and neither ate nor drank. (NAS)
Paul was knocked to the ground Vince, and even though his eyes were open he could not see but he could talk and discovered that it WAS DEFINITELY CHRIST to whom he was talking to. I don't know WHERE you get the idea to pass along something you have no basis for. If you where KNOCKED TO THE GOUND and COULD'T SEE FOR THREE DAYS, I'm sure you wouldn't then come along and say it was all in your mind.
Again you've MISREAD the Scriptures Vince.
