No, what I meant is getting into the same groove by the power of gentle and seductive persuasion. (Not sexual either).
Sales people use it by becoming your "best friend" and understanding so precisely, what you feel and want. In return, you fulfill THEIR wishes by buying their product!~
What won't you do for a "best friend"? They make YOU happy and so you want to make THEM happy too ........ so you can be happy together.
The same technique applies to partners in a marriage. The problem is ... too many marriages have ONE partner trying to be a controller and the other one being gnashingly passive. The controller tries to "force" agreement by nattering about something, on and on. The passive one continually mumbles affirmation but truly -ignores it. Now if you can get the passive one INTERESTED and the nattering one more understanding ... you start to synchronize your waves!
