Its a wake up call 
If we were camping, and you got up out of your tent to go to the bathroom and in the dark you accidentally started walking towards the 100 ft drop off.
I would say "8dj your going the wrong way!".... And then if you ignored me time and time again I might say "Hay stupid your going to die going that way!"....
And like noob says "People that care about me respectfully ignore me".... Do they care?.. or don't they care?.... By ignoring they are respectfully saying "go to hell for real"....
For a believer to respectfully ignore you, they are partaking in the true eternal death of you. Think about what type of a person that would be. Basically assisting in the eternal murder of you, your soul, not just your body, assisting in the complete extinction of the True YOU, by respectfully ignoring you.
Some people call that love.
If I were in grave error I would hope Jesus or someone would bonk me up along side my head and say "What the hell are you thinking, are you stupid!!!!"
I see no honor or respect in loving someone to there complete and utter destruction. Or should a good christian simply watch as a neighbor in error walks off the cliff from disinformation pointing him in the wrong direction?
If I said nothing, I would be giving in to Satan and betraying my beliefs, and simply nothing more then a neutral bystander with no beliefs at all of life or death or anything. And sadly that's how many believers are if you can call them believers.
