      Laurel and Hardy appeared live on a 1954 episode of This Is Your Life where Hardy's masonic membership is noted.

      For the Junior Boys album, see Begone Dull Care (album).
      Begone Dull Care (1949) is a visual music animated film directed by Norman McLaren and Evelyn Lambart.
      Using drawn on film animation, McLaren and Lambart paint and scratch directly onto film stock to create a visual representation of Oscar Peterson's jazz music. The film is produced by the National Film Board of Canada.

      Begone, Dull Care!
      Anonymous:
      Begone, dull care! I prithee begone from me;
      Begone, dull care! Thou and I can never agree.
      Long while thou hast been tarrying here,
      And fain thou wouldst me kill;
      But i' faith dull care,
      Thou never shalt have thy will.

      Too much care will make a young man grey;
      Too much care will turn an old man to clay.
      My wife shall dance, and I will sing,
      So merrily pass the day;
      For I hold it is the wisest thing,
      To drive dull care away.

      Hence, dull care! I'll none of thy companie;
      Hence, dull care! Thou art no peer for me.
      We'll hunt the wild boar through the wold,
      So merrily pass the day;
      And then at night, o'er a cheerful bowl,
      We'll drive dull care away.

      vincelife share'd > Especially since it's the voice of Walter Kronkite, the popular Newscaster who always seemed to care so much about everything .. coming out of that owl!~

      What did Walter Kronkite have to say about the new world order?

      "Join me. I'm glad to sit here at the right hand of Satan." (9:30)

      So what about "care"? Well, figger it out. It's a week-long bash of ultra rich people running around drunk and naked ... no women ... brought-in male prostitutes and booing about associations with women. What do you think they DON'T want to care about during that week?
