I feel sorry that you were so mistreated in Indian school when you were a boy. But this is not my fault. Lastly: If Jesus was so great in feeding poor from a couple slices of bread and some dead fish, walking on water, raising the dead and curing the ill, and coming back to life from the dead, I just find it strange not one piece of paper, not any document, concerning anything about him, survived him. Especially since there were so many scholars - and educated romans, living in the area at that time. Not one single shred and in fact nothing written at all until some 60 years after his alleged death. Go figure.

The assumption of this quote is that, there exists at least some good men that can balance the force. However, in the world where there is not even one righteous man, evil has surely been triumphant, and we have all been enslaved by our own sinfulness. But our loving God did do something about the evil – He sent his own beloved son to die in our place, but also through his resurrection, death has been conquered and we no longer are enslaved. Jesus Christ is the super hero in this action movie… we are the benfactors if we so choose to accept the precious gift.

But why does humanity need a role model? Seems humans are the only creatures that do evil. Where is personal growth and responsibility? I don't see perfection as reality. The old testament is about human weakness and the struggle to become better, it is filled with human strife and the relentless effort to overcome selfish frailty. The new testament is about achieveing perfection and that will never happen. Unfettered love is a dream. You speak of the evil people of the world and that has been my point. However, I believe there are kind, loving and great people, but too often they are beaten down, yet their efforts continue, such as Carter and Bono.

Living a Christ existence is much different than claiming it and wearing it on the sleeve. Bravado does not make a christian. Neither do churches and evangelical efforts. Being a good christian simply means regrasping humanity. And that means just being what we were meant to be. Your Jesus spoke of that in Luke 12;22.
