had a friend, and still do, that when as a kid whenyou'ed see him you'ed see me. We skipped school together, stole together, went to the lake together, sakted together. Every thing one of us did the other one did also.
When I went to prison I lost contact with him. Our paths crossed in jail when he was on his way to the Texas Pen. and I was on my way to Alabama chain gang. After my release from Arkansas, I moved to Houston, Tx., went to Bible Colledge for awhile, dropped out of that then moved back to Dallas towards my hometownof Denison.
I remembered this friend had a sister in Dallas and her and her husband has a pest control service there. I called the pest control and found out this friend was living in Dallas. After that contack we never have lost contact with eachother since. That was over thirty five years ago. I called him yesterday adn inquired about his cancer treatment. He's really not doing well, but he don't want me to worry about him.
Now I told you that to say this. There are several people on this "Boooooooob Tube" that I have came in contact with that I even care about being frineds with. None on this forum to speak of, except you. In your answers to the old posters you were the only one that really showed compassion. I perceived a spirit in you that was honest, sincere, and loving. Not only for those you came in contact with on the internet, but your own family.
I don't remember the exact post that changed my mind about wanting to continue on in trying to keep some sort of relationship going, but there was a time I distinctly remember you posted something that led me to believe you felt I was hindering you from expressing your true self with strings to me attached, so in this post you decided to sever those strings.
I too, value real friendships. I don't have much for psuedo, and as you can tell, real friendships are far and inbetween on Christian forums, or any forums for that matter. Most people are not looking for any lasting relationships in the first place.
But, let me say this to you as a freind, there is something about you that is real. You are not a phonie and there is a kindred spirit you have that you are grieving by the company you are keeping.
Sorta like that football game I talk about a lot. As a spectater there are times you want your team to win, but sometimes we are all guilty of pulling for the other side. The danger in that is in staying on the other side to long untill we forget which team we were pulling for in the first place.
And, if you will notice, you can also tell which side of the field others posters are rooting for also. They are not our friends.
And as on fellow put it, "hell, man, I have lots of friends," and te reply was, "I don't." Louis

you claim you are so REAL about your friendships......problem is.....if ANYone dare call you honestly on an action....be it false wittness or anything unedifying......

you claim martyrdom for it and that of course....those are the devil's workers ...who dare say what they think to Robert!

Robert from what i can see.....you can't TELL who your real friends are......that makes you a fool.
