Every year more than six million people visit Lourdes in France to try and appeal to God for a miracle. Since 1858 there have been 64 recognized miracles.

... man's medical science can cure more people than a (supposed) omnipotent deity?

Maybe the Christian god should be worshiping us!

That is a pretty poor average...

I would think that at least 64 would have been in line for a spontaneous healing anyway. They say that the body has the ability to destroy any disease which attacks it.
Having a nurse for a wife, I am aware that sick people who go to faith healing services, often have a temporary lessening of symptoms, but they quickly return.
