Run BASIC - a BASIC for the web

I thought that some QBasic coders here would be interested in a new product we're releasing this weekend that will let you leverage your BASIC skills to create web apps without learning a ton of arcane stuff. We were at a software developers conference last year when some people convinced us that a really easy web programming system could be built on BASIC, so we created one called Run BASIC. After a year and a half of development it's finally ready. Run BASIC is built on our popular Liberty BASIC system. Most web programming systems require you to break your program up into a whole bunch of files of different kinds. Run BASIC let's you create web apps using a more classic procedural style.

Have a look at http://www.runbasic.com if you're interested. The site has a limited version that you can play with without downloading anything. Have a look at the Examples and Learn tabs, and especially follow the video link on the home page because it shows in more detail how the actual product works.

We also have a forum online that has been developing in private for a few months so it has a bunch of useful information and some very helpful members. http://runbasic.proboards82.com
