Aber Diamond Corp. said Wednesday it will pay $157 million US to buy the 47 per cent stake of diamond retailer Harry Winston Inc. that it doesn't currently own.

Aber bought 51 per cent of Harry Winston in April 2004 for $85 million US and has since increased its stake to roughly 53 per cent. The original purchase agreement included an option for Aber to purchase the rest of Harry Winston in 2010."
