      A number of cricket histories contain the story of how batsman Arthur Shrewsbury and bowler Alfred Shaw were deliberately buried 22 yards apart in a Nottinghamshire graveyard. Sadly, it turns out to be untrue.

      by the way, did I mention that young Bairstow could bat a bit?
