Warks 36 - 2 (Patterson and Shahzad one each)
The pitch was more bowler friendly than usual for Stamford Bridge.
If Patterson is fit, why wasn't he - or Shahzad or Wainwright - selected for Trent Bridge?
I thought we siad at the start of the season we were looking to bring on our youngsters..?
What message do we send them if we pick Deon - even though he isn't bowling well...
Looks like we can't open the batting any better in the seconds !!

Day 2
July 23 2008, 7:27 PM
Warks 2nd XI 192 All Out a Yorkshire lead of 7.
Wickets were shared with Patterson and Wainwright being the pick. The pitch did not seem to be so much in the bowlers' favour.
Unfortunately, when Yorkshire batted the pitch seemed to revert to being in the bowlers' favour - or was it the batting?

I will not be at the match tomorrow but I will see what I can do regarding the final score. I don't suppose that it will go into a 4th day.

I will be going tomorrow, so hopefully I will be able to update with score. Looks as if I will need to get there early as it might be all over by lunch.

from the Warwickshire angle, because Ashley Giles has just announced that Warwicks are going to prune the staff fairly fiercely due to poor gate receipts last season.
