I Don't Believe It (Wisden hails first woman as Cricketer of Year!)

Shock horror ... I can forsee a number of MCC members throwing themselves off the Lords pavilion ... why you ask? Well Wisden has finally entered the 21st Century and named England batsman Claire Taylor as one of the 5 cricketers of the year. (The others are James Anderson, and the South Africans Dale Benkenstein, Mark Boucher, and Neil McKenzie).
Whilst I was tempted to do a 'joke MCP' post I have to say well done Wisden (& Ms Taylor)

She was on Radio 5 Live this morning and most impressive she was. Down to Earth, refreshingly honest and modest, and very likeable.
Although you'd have to say that it isn't the most inspirational five cricketers ever seen - it seems strange that Neil MacKenzie should enter the list of the immortals...
I haven't bought a Wisden for years: at £45.00, who can afford them anymore? Is there a women's cricket section? If, so is it substantial or a "cameo appearance?"
I still find it incomprehensible that it took so long, but three cheers anyway. Hopefully, choosing the most worthy cricketers (man or women) will become regular policy regrading the Widen Cricketers of the Year..
