A Simon Barnes moment.

Did anyone spot the Red Kite flying high over Headingley from North to South at about half past one yesterday? Just for a moment it distracted me from Shahzad and Brophy - but only for a moment.

i saw a bird with a massive wingspan fling round the cranes about 5 o,clock. it was probably your red kite, but i am not an expert.

I only saw the Jet2.Com bird flying low to Spain..
