We are are expanding our GROUNDS content, and over the next few weeks we will be adding detailed guides (maps, records, histories, etc.) for the grounds that Yorkshire currently uses; as well as for every ground used by Yorkshire for First-class, one-day and other major cricket over the years. We will also be adding up-to date records for all Second Eleven grounds.

In this regard we are greatly indebted to long-time YCCC member STEVE DRAPER, a well-known cricket historian and member of The Association of Cricket Statisticians and Historians (ACS). His articles include: The Cricket Grounds of Yorkshire (1995), and The Cricket Grounds of Durham (2006).

Steve Draper has kindly offered the WRF access to his extensive research materials, and he will be providing a history of each ground. As well, a selection of Steve Draper's photographs will be included with each historical vignette.

Thanks Mr. Draper. This will be a valuable addition to the WRF information base.

A welcome addition. I always thought the grounds section was one area that needed an update. Can't wait to see my old stomping grounds...Bradford Park Avenue. I was born on Little Horton Lane.
