I'm sure Noel Coward would have made something out of ''Taunting rain for Taunton.'' Oh for a rainy Somerset Maugn:-)

Mad dogs and Yorkshiremen go out in the mid day - out in the mid day - Sun.....
I still have no idea of our team for today, but sense it could be an occasion for gallows humour.

just thought I would bring this thread back to the top again and ask if your raindances are still being practiced or if the current match situation has got you all racing down to Taunton to book into the local B&Bs...

Sadly not.
I'd love a couple of days at Taunton.
Rain is forecast. You shouldn't always get what you ask for.

As Adge Cutler would say ''Let's race down there and drink thy zider!''

We are slightly winning after two days as opposed to the usual slightly losing but still a tight position and we may have to risk a loss to gain a win. Will McGrath be brave enough to do such a thing? And what is a last day target at Taunton? If Trescothick and Langer really got in perhaps nothing short of 500 would not be impossible.
If it rains now, it might as well rain until september.
