| While, I don't think these sorts of historical statistics are readily available, Yorkshire's XI for the Somerset match must surely be one of the younger sides we've ever fielded, with a collective average age of something in the 24-year old range - and with two teenagers in the side.

With the exception of Rudolph all the current players came through the ranks. I am sure no other county can claim that. I for one would believe this is the right policy rather than poaching and enticing second rate or has-been imports. | |
