I was at Clifton Park yesterday, and it was obvious to all that Adil was given as much bowling as possible in preparation for Old Trafford on Friday,
Not as accurate as usual, with too many four-balls,he may well need a long bowl tomorrow as well.
Good to see veteran Test umpire Don Oslear standing and a special mention for the catering at York which was excellent as per usual, huge deliscious hot lunches for just £4 ,,,,marvellous!!!! |

he can only get better by bowling for sustained periods and T20, carrying Englands drinks or sitting watching seamers on greentops are not going to help him.
Good move to give him a long bowl in the 2nds. It should dispel any injury comments if he can bowl 35 overs in a day. He's not injured, just undercooked due to the nature of how he has been treated by the fixture schedulers, England selectors and the weather
