Obviously we'll all be keenly watching the other matches in this round of the Championship.
The Warwicks-Worcester match is probably the most important in terms of Yorkshire's fortunes as fellow strugglers Warwicks get a chance to stock up on some points and perhaps beat a woeful Worcester side.
Sussex-Durham also bears watching as Sussex is only 2 points above the Tykes but with a vital match in hand.
A win by either Sussex or Warwicks and coupled with only a draw or loss by the Tykes would be a serious, and perhaps fatal blow to Yorkshire's chances of staying.
Alas, Warwicks at 272-5 after 65 overs are sprinting towards 4 or 5 batting points. If hey beat Worc and earn maximum points and Yorkshire lose with 3 points, Warwicks will be 19 points up with a match in hand - all but mathematically out reach.
Additionally, if Lancs beat us they could well be 30+ point ahead of the Tykes.
Sussex are getting hammered by Durham with the Rverside lads at 195-1 with 70 overs gone.
In short, we are running out of teams that we can catch EVEN IF WE WIN SEVERAL MATCHES.
From my perspective our chances of staying in the division now come down to beating out EITHER Sussex or Hants.
Our chances of playing in division one next season depend on a complete restructuring by the ECB that involves no relegation this season and eleven teams playing in the top division next season.
All's not lost, if enough of us shout it or suggest it when they do the next survey it could just happen.
