It has been a Finals Day of a national schools competition Steve. Been beautiful at Headingley Carnegie today - glorious blue sky all day!

message for james buttler. can the webcam remain activated over the winter so we can see the progress of the pavilion or just gaze nostalgically at the ground.

into november and still no images from the webcam. the square is probably repaired and new grass appearing. the pavilion is probably growing but we can only imagine. will it ever work again?.

i think Michael Vaughan should be asked for his views on the webcam, its merits, its unreliability and perhaps he could do so whilst being interviewed in front of it so it can be fully tested by James Buttler

At least this would be quiet ... as someone has obviously re-located the cam

I hope it is. Digging up the square is much more of an historic event than digging up the outfield. Will we be able to buy a piece of it, perhaps?

Still pretty dark considering it is now the afternoon. Does anyone else still have their lights on?

Another gloomy day in Leeds. Lights still on.
