Overseas players

In the final round of matches in div 1 hardly any of the counties have overseas players playing (ie proper overseas players).

Rana left us in the lurch many weeks ago.
Imran Tahir has gone back to South Africa for their domestic season.
Notts have not seen Voges or his stand in for a while now.
Warks had Sreesanth but then lost him again after Patel went back to NZ.
Worcts overseas player seems to have escaped both my memory and their selectors for quite some time now - Noffke?

Lancashire have Laxman playing but lost du Plessis to the SA season.
Sussex have Chawla replacing their bowling machine for the last few games.

And Durham have quietly plodded on to the title with Chanderpaul in their ranks (when by rights he should be in South Africa for the ICC Champions Trophy).

So how come Durham can not only pick a decent overseas player but one who also happens to be available for most of the season?

Just highlighting that its not just us who have struggled with a duff overseas choice this season!

Chanderpaul has hardly been available to Durham virtually all season. He only arrived within the last month.
