What ever anybody thinks the management and Hoggy (I am sure he was not surprised!)have made their decision and a long standing servant of the club has gone to pastures new. What matters is our club and not how much a player can extract in financial terms to the detrement of the rest of the club.Everybody has their price and it was too much for our club to pay.

well said - one thing we have not got around to exploring is how the members would react if the club increased membership fees by 50% next year in order to be able to keep Hoggy on the playing staff.

Looks like no ones listening. This is too big a story to "go away" any time soon. At least until we sign an overseas player to replace him.
