No mention is made of the captaincy next year - I suspect negotiations are ongoing.
Whatever happens, nothing would make me happier than the brutal splendour of Mags spanking the bowling as the mainstay of our middle order next season.

Whilst I've not been complementary about Mag's captaincy I've always said that the biggest minus was that it appeared to affect his batting .... the poor lad was batting as though he'd the weight of the world on his shoulders. My view was that we releaved McGrath of the captaincy but told him that his place in the team was assured

Unlike some I think Mags still has a number of years hitting the oppostions bowling around. In the last match Anthony went back into the slips ... & caught a couple of blinders.
