For anyone out there who's interested, Michael Vaughan has been added to the panel for Radio Five's Fighting talk which is being broadcast live from Headingley next Saturday. Tickets available through the YCC Website.

Vaughan doesn't need a programme like this to give his 'fighting talk' - he has been doing it for the last fortnight via other communication channels already!

It reminds me a bit of when the clean cut Lineker moved into TV on 'They Think its all Over' and he had to display a 'nasty' side to him to try and appeal to the viewing public.

Wonder what questions they may line up for Vaughan? And I wonder if he plugs his new book?

Steve, where abouts on the website can you get tickets for Fighting Talk? Love that show and the chance to go see them up at Headingley would be great!

Apologies...

I spoke too soon!
It said tickets were still available on the website but I've just had an email back to say that all tickets for Fighting Talk have now been allocated - although the very nice lady offered me free tickets for Duncan Hamilton with Barry Norman or Harry Gration with Goughie and Ellery Hanley instead. It looks like a great event for thos eof us that are sufering from lack of cricket;

MV is not on the fighting talk today. Just listened to 5 mins of it and no mention of him. The program itself gets worse, it really is a load of rubbish. Everyone talks at the same time, no one manages more than 1/2 a sentence without being interrupted, and far to much background rubbish (bells, buzzers, music etc). Thank goodness it was just 5 minutes!!!
