If we can bat at the same rate until around tea, weather permitting, we should just about manage full bonus points and a decent lead.

That's a big "if".
Notts best 2 bowlers will come roaring back at us again today.

This shaping up to be the match of the season so far.
Don't want to be too greedy but would settle for a lead of 50.

We've been here before and we've ended up with 200-plus lead. Can't happen every time, of course, but suspect we might get at least 100 ahead, which is pretty useful in this context.

Would settle for third bonus point and the lead that would imply. Anything else would be icing on the cake.

Still pretty even. Would like a 100 lead then I would be confident of a win but doubt if we will get as much a lead as that.

Rashid out to a full toss that he slapped straight to a fielder.

Strange captaincy by Read. Why did he not start with his best two bowlers in Broad and Ball. Doubt that we would still have been batting, if he had.

Underwhelming post-lunch end to our innings.

Yeah bit of a tame end to our inns. Willey bowling much straighter here, good start.

This match has been as tight as a drum after every session, and it still is.

Still difficult to pick a winner yet, but unless Notts score a lot quicker than they are, I can not see them ever being far enough in front to set us a reasonable target and give themselves enough time to bowl us out.

Off for bad light now, batteries dead on light meters, so they took tea!!

No, Notts will never declare but if they get out for 250 they could yet embarrass us.

doubt it will happen with our batting line up, but thats the only way we can lose this game.

reckon another 15 overs tonight then we will have 40 overs or so tomorrow to bowl them out and knock off the 200 runs we will need to win

The unbroken 6th wicket partnership has evened it up again, and their scoring rate has shot up as well.

An hour before close we were looking strong favourites, now it can still go either way. If we have them bowled out by lunch tomorrow I would still fancy our chances, but if they are batting into the afternoon we could be chasing over 250 in 50 overs or so.

terrific match, well done to the groundsman for avoiding the temptation to produce a road, a pretty near perfect wicket for a 4 day game.

I would make Yorkshire slight favourites but all 4 results possible.
Looks a decent day weatherwise and has crossed my mind to phone in sick tomorrow at work.
