The Academy have today won the York league knock out cup with a comfortable win against Sheriff Hutton Bridge.

Hundred for Harry Brook, Waite with a 50 and five wickets for Fisher. Looks like we fielded a strong team with everyone having a decent amount of 2nd eleven experience. Scorecard below.

Sheriff Hutton Bridge is Matt Fisher's club so I imagine so. I notice that Matt and Mark Fisher each got the other out: brothers..?

That Fastest Club Bowler competition article is interesting- the fastest club bowler in Yorkshire 'only' clocked 77mph to win the competition, i.e. about the upper limit that Patto, who is seen as a slow bowler at county level, bowls at. Again just shows the gulf to the professional game.
