Problem is, Clarke has form against us doesn't he? (and I'm not Egham)

We do not have two excellent spinners- Rafiq is no more than decent in red ball cricket- and Rhodes is yet to prove he can be a useful all-rounder at this level; his bowling in particular has looked some way below the standard required of a front line bowler when I have seen him. You're right that should Leaning not regain his form and Bresnan not continue his our middle order batting could look exposed.

Great morning for us.

Great that it is being streamed. Yorkshire please note!!

A combination of live streaming, a smart TV and skyq means I can view every ball of the match on a 42" tv.

i would not expect them to stream home games, giving people an excuse not to go is shooting yourself in the foot.

Now Ambrose and Clarke have gone since lunch - young Coad continues to impress. Rashid for tail!?

The quality of this streaming is excellent. I can't quite sync the BBC sound, but it's well worth watching.

Good point, but Warwickshire do it, presumably for their fans who do not live within a decent distance from Ebgbaston.

Thanks for the link to the streaming, brilliant for me as I'm only able to get to a couple of days of live cricket per year.

The rain came at good time for us to regroup. IMHO, we should have used Rashid soon after 7th wicket fell against their sloggers. LIve streaming excellent - thanks for link

If there are no issues around rights, as presumably there isn't if Warks are streaming, the counties should starting doing a more sophisticated stream (i.e. not fixed camera and with commentary) for one 'featured game' per round of games. See what happens. If over a million are listening at some stage on BBC, got to be some potential. Publicise it. In time, even try to get sponsorship. We will wait forever for ECB to get cricket on free-to-air. Cut them out of the picture and get on with it. Can't believe there isn't an audience for it.

Exactly clubs seem to be a bit behind when it comes to this sort of thing. When i viewed the wark game there was about 200+ people viewing. I bet if yccc did it regularly (and advertised it! ) it could go into 4 figures.

Jay - you are Egham Tyke and I claim my £5!

Another streaming bonus is that you can replay in slow motion - that was a beauty from Adil

currently 283 watching - I doubt (even in Yorks!) that there'd be much impact on attendances but it'd be a terrific option for dipping in & out (or watching from your desk) if you can't be there in person. With these viewing figures I'm not sure there's much, if any direct revenue in it for the club - unless some comedy incident goes viral - but plenty of 'intangible' benefits for the faithful.

Willey seems to be a bit wild today.

"It would be incredibly harsh to drop Coad who has bought himself another game at least but I wonder if the best balance of attack available to us would be Bresnan (all round abilities alone pick him), Rashid (spin option), Patterson (control), Willey (left arm) and fisher/warner (extra pace)?"
Idiot 😁
