Great to see him back to his best and leading from the front as skipper.

500+ runs and we are still in April, ridiculous!

Almost as many CC runs scored as previous captain Andrew Gale did last year!

Ballance looks like he has his mojo back, looks very perked up at the crease in the CC opener against Hampshire and no longer displaying the timid body language seen last year. It would be great to see how Ballance fares in the white ball competitions, maybe back to the big hitting qualities seen in the 2012 Friends Provident and Champions League T20 competitions.

Never has it been more apt to say form is termporary, class is permament.

Worth adding after ECB messed him up (never a number 3, never should have toured India) between Yorkshire and the player he is now back to his superb best.

Leave him be now. If he's still on top form as the season closes and has shown improvement where required to his technique, maybe then can he be considered for England.

Yes some people feel the weight of captaincy on my heir shoulders and others thrive with the he added responsibility.

So far this season it's clear which it is for Garry and long may it not only continue but rub off on others
