Yorkshire vs Warwickshire 2nd XI Trophy at York

Yorkshire posted 362 for 7 in their 50 overs. Jonathan Tattersall led the way with 98 from 101 balls, no doubt encouraged by hearing that Yorkshire had extended his trial period to the end of the season. There were half centuries also for Harry Brook, Eliot Callis and Ryan Gibson.
Sadly the scorecard can be seen only via the Warwickshire website on TCS. Yorkshire don't bother to show it even though it is our home match.

Just beat me to it. Jack Brooks is playing & Siddy plays tomorrow for the second team at harrogate..

Spanish Nick is fine, for those who were wondering, he was also there today.

But did he have pomfret cakes? And were you offered one?

I never asked. It was bitterley cold so a hot toddy or soup would have been more appropriate.

That's a good win. I saw the equivalent fixture at Knowle & Dorridge last year, where Yorkshire lost a tight match.
So far I've only managed to see Harry Brook having a long net session at an England U-19 fixture, but I'm really looking forward to seeing him in the middle.

Amongst the many positives, Carver conceding 86 from his 10 overs is a bit of a concern with Rashid soon to be lost to the Champions Trophy and Rafiq looking a bit off-colour...

That's a fair point, though Sunny Singh is a decent young spinner and went for 55 off 8 overs without taking a wicket.
