Good luck to those going, hope the weather turns out better than forecast.

Hoping for a good full first session with us still batting at lunch, couple of centuries, and maybe a record 7th wicket stand, before the Rugby league magic weekend kicks in to take away the R5SX coverage.

Nothing to stop me hoping, lets see what really happens.

Yep, not a great forecast, doubt if we will get much more than 2 hrs play in today.

Need another 150 to get ourselves in to a possible winning position (weather permitting) with their very strong batting line-up.

for continuous commentary when radio 5 extra goes elsewhere, put "cricket commentaries" into your computer or device browser and choose the radio leeds or manchester option rather than the radio 5 live option.

...or follow it ball by ball on Cricinfo, then you get the score unlike when listening to DC who never gives you the score.

I shall be watching the "magic weekend" and following the score on my tablet (if we play at all today).

thoughts of 400 is wildly optimistic. Anything above 300 should ensure that the lancys will be chasing the highest score of the match batting fourth.

300 puts us right in the game. Their batting is marginally stronger but our attack is superior.

As they're still off for rain, is there any news on whether James Anderson will play anymore in this match?

Started again but we are going to miss another bonus point, which is rather disappointing unless we can get near to 400 in total

Surely "teeing off" time now and declare with 12 overs left.

lets forget the bonus points and play the game with what looks like tricky weather conditions.

I am caught between plougging on towards 350plus and a desire to get our 3 frontline bowlers in at their batting tonight.

We have passed the bonus points stage, it is 110 overs. We just need as many runs as we can get and quickly to a declaration tonight.

I think letting Leaning get a ton (in the context of the season) is about the most important consideration right now.

Although it would be nice if he'd get a little bit of a move on!

Was rather hopeful for that 3rd batting point and from the comfort of my shed I think they should have tried harder. However looking on the bright side we might not have got it and might have gifted Lancashire a 3rd bowling point so we are where we are.

Looks like they are teeing off now, 350-400 lead with hopefully two full days left gives us a chance.

Fingers crossed for 200+ overs in the next two days. Already very unlikely Lancs can win from here. Might be a bit too much for Sid and Brooks to be on top form straight away
