Essex got 360 and now have Hants at 18 for 5.

Wouldn't mind seeing that replicated at O.T.

Bit of a recovery by Hants but odds on an Essex win.

Middlesex working themselves into quite a strong position at Lords. I always expect Surrey to be a little bit more fragile in their 2nd innings, while Middlesex seem to improve the deeper the games go.

Warwickshire and Somerset looks unlikely to end in anything but a draw.

Just looking at the Notts game, I'd completely missed the fact that Pujara is playing for them, I hope, and believe he will, score a lot of runs for them.

Ridiculously easy win to take Essex to the top of the table and make a nonsense of how Hampshire made life difficult for us in both our games.

Looks likely that Surrey/Middlesex will end in a draw as will the game at Taunton so no real gaps opening up.

Still think it will be Yorkshire/Surrey and Middlesex for the top three, but not quite so confident it will be in that particular order.

Might there be a result at Taunton & Lords?? Two sudden collapses.

Middlesex need 240 off 40 at Lord's. Remind you of anything? Bet they haven't agreed not to shut up shop.

Not too much damage done in this round of matches.

Thought Middlesex were a little bit timid, seemingly not even giving it a go at any stage.

A bit worried this 8 team Division with 2 going down might make teams even more anxious not to lose, rather than taking a risk to win.

Tremendous stuff at Hove with Sussex really sticking it to poor old Durham with some festival cricket.
