Looks like we will get a full game in.

Quite glad I'm not sat outside watching it.

England marginally on top after 20 overs of the reply but if Williamson and Taylor stay together for another 10 overs it could easily go the other way.

This is a really good match. I've grown to really enjoy 50 over cricket in the last couple of years. Much better than T20.

Huge double strike to get rid of Williamson and Taylor, England edge ahead. This is high quality stuff.

Rashid playing a top hand here - so far. Nothing loose at all. Likewise Plunkett. It's over 9 an over needed, but half a dozen overs of mayhem could do it. But Neesham out as I write....

Hats off to all the bowlers in lousy conditions.

Good comeback, especially from Ball who's had a couple of stinkers.

We can safely harden our hearts to not having the England 5 back for the
game against Surrey.

Every team needs a fall boy, so it might as well be Roy.

He doesn't have to prove it EVERY time he goes to the crease though Pyrah.

This team won't have a better chance to win a competition and, to be fair, they do look the part (at the moment). Rashid's confiidence is high and he's thriving in his role and acceptance of what it is by the rest.

Intersting to hear the Sri Lankan commentator on Sky ( name escapes me- age is winning) say that he found him easier to pick live than on the screen.
